It only takes 1 person…

Just went people were having a blessed time at the event; from Balfour to Banksy, one person decided it would be fine to mess things up. It was all going so smoothly then it all kicked off within the question and answer session at the end.

What was an educational night changed rapidly into one sided argument over a silly point. It only takes 1 person to start to mess things up for everyone else. This was by far the most annoying thing to have witnessed.

The disappointing thing was everyone in the room were all adults. We came together at university lecture theatre to enjoy a film. Being a massive fan of Banksy, I really wanted to know how this event linked his work. Glad I got to learn how his work linked in before it all kicked off!! An educational night hasn’t gone down the drain however, it was sad to have seen great event end like this.

What I admired from the side line is how the event organisers conduct themselves and ended the event. From a great gathering it was a shame to have had it end like this. My biggest reflection of tonight is “Pick your battles, you don’t have to show up to every argument you’re invited to” – Mandy Hale.
